The RYP0802A is a standard 8-character x 2-line character LCD module. It utilizes STN technology with a gray transflective positive display mode, delivering clear, high-contrast visuals under any lighting condition. Driven by the high-performance ST7066U controller, it is fully compatible with the standard HD44780 instruction set and supports an 8-bit parallel interface for easy connection and programming with various microcontrollers. The logic operates at 5V, and it integrates a high-brightness yellow-green LED backlight with a typical current of 150mA. Featuring a robust structure with zebra strip connection for high reliability, it is ideally suited for industrial control instruments, test equipment, office automation devices, and any HMI requiring clear character display.
